Join Thompson Seattle's Executive Chef, Chris Ingmire, and the highly skilled team at Truffle Dog Company, for an exclusive wild truffle hunting excursion and seasonal dining experience.
Your Guided Truffle Hunting Adventure. Expert guides will take you to a truffle patch and show you the fascinating world of truffle hunting with dogs locating these underground treasures. After the hunt, you'll return to Thompson Seattle to indulge in a decadent four-course truffle dinner, crafted by Chef Chris, accompanied by Washington wine pairings.
During this experience, you’ll get the feel of excitement that is dashing after dogs in the wild forests, digging up truffles pulled right from the earth, and all the magic the Pacific Northwest holds, just beyond downtown Seattle's doorstep.

A guided 1.5-2-hour wild truffle hunt with Truffle Dog Co., roundtrip transportation from Thompson Seattle to the truffle patch, and a sensational four-course seasonal truffle dinner with Washington Wine pairings, by Executive Chef Chris Ingmire, at Conversation Kitchen & Bar at the Thompson Seattle.

Know Before You Go:
Departure from Thompson Seattle will be at noon, with an approximate return time of 5:00 pm. Dinner will begin at 7:00 pm.
The truffle hunt itself will last about 1.5-2 hours from the moment you set boots and paws in the woods until the time you return to the vehicle. Travel time to location is generally about 1 hour+ each way, with transportation provided by Thompson Seattle in partnership with Butler.
Guests are to bring proper attire. Closed-toed shoes or boots are required. Hiking boots with traction are advised, or waterproof shoes. Layered clothing is recommended.
Truffle hunting is inherently an outdoor sport. We operate, rain or shine, sun or snow. Moderate walking or hiking ability is recommended for this experience.
These are wild truffle locations and do include hiking off-trail. If you have mobility concerns, please note them at the time of booking.
Weather. There are times when the weather conditions are not suitable for truffle hunting. This includes hazardous conditions such as high wind, ice storms, and heavy snow. For these reasons, we may need to cancel or reschedule this experience on short notice. In the event of a canceled experience, we will work with you to either reschedule for a later date or, refund your purchase price.
